"Today I play host
To my Invisible Ghost"
I first met him when I was down
I was laying alone in the dark
As he neared me
His sweet smell pervaded the whole park
He had a sweet smile on his face
And I did not know what to do
He came and sat next to me
And said, "I am here for you"
I moved back a little
I was scared
He understood what I felt
And told me not to be afraid
He asked me to tell him all about myself
I did not know where to begin
I had a feeling that he already knew
About all of my past sins
He put his hand on my shoulder
I felt warm on the inside
He told me to trust him
As he takes me on a little ride
I was confused
But I still went along
He took me all the way back into my past
I was trying to figure out where I had gone wrong
He told me to not weep
He showed me how to learn
And at that moment I knew
Nothing lost, Nothing earned
And with that thought in my head
I knew exactly what to do
I picked myself up
To start over new
Just want to say
Thank you my friend
Maybe we will meet again some day
Probably when this journey ends
