I am just a hero who lost his way
I am the hero who withered away
I lost it when I had it all
My broken wings made me fall
I got shot down when I tried to run
My journey ended before it began

I am just a hero with no where to go
I am the hero at the climax of my show
I stand here at the end of my game
I ran out of my 15 seconds of fame
Those that once loved me hate me now
I wonder why? I wonder how?

I am just a hero with a battle to fight
I am the hero who searches for day light during night
I am left with no one by my side
Even out of places to hide
